I welcome you all to Billiards/Snooker Section of Ikoyi Club 1938. Our section has become more comfortable, the existing facilities have been upgraded and most of all, we have been welcoming new members to our section on a regular basis.

Billiards/Snooker section is located about 50 meters away from the Club Building its also share boundary with the Golf Section. The section building accommodates 7 snooker tables & 2 poll tables of International Standard, a Bar and a lobby.

One thing is however quite certain and that is, towards the end of the 17th century the game of billiards was being played both in England and France, although not on the refined modern table as we have today in the world. Snooker is a very dynamic, highly technical game.

However, it is an indoor game that involves two players, with 22 balls. The section started it existence as a section in Ikoyi Club since 1976 and the first Chairman of the section was Mr. Ram G. Gupta.
