The Section opens to members at 3.00pm everyday and on public holidays.
Junior members are not expected to play beyond 6.00pm and they are expected to leave the Section by 9.00p.m
The rules of the game are as contained in the Section's rule book.
All players shall wear T-Shirt of any colour parts from orange and shall play only with non
Marking playing canvas of sports shoes. No street shoes or Hard sole canvas are allowed.
Membership cards shall be presented when demanded by a committee member Or club official.
Under no circumstance shall foods or drinks (save water taken during play)be taken into the playing hall.
Silence & orderly behaviour shall be maintained at all times.
Use of mobile phone in the playing hall is prohibited.
USE OF PLAYING HALL
Only tickets from the tickets booklet purchased in advance shall be allowed in paying for playing in the playing hall
Fees payable per 30 minutes duration of play shall be by use of tickets mentioned in 6 above.
Prescribe fees are as follows:
Junior member - N 20.00
Adult member - N 20.00
Non-section member/guest – N70.00 (N50+N20)
Member will be allowed to buy tickets on presentation of current membership card only
No member will be allowed to play until he has booked and tickets number entered against his or her name by the booking clerk.
Junior members to play on table 5, 6, & 7 unless during competitions
Members are not to kick or box wooden panels in the hall. If damaged, such members shall bear the cost of the repairs.
Junior members are not allowed in the playing hall after 6p.m on weekdays & 8p.m on weekends
CARE OF THE TABLE BOARDS
Players are not allowed to:
Put their bags on the table
Hit the playing surface with their rackets. Offenders will be liable to replace the damaged table board.
Members are to call the attention of the coach in case of any observation concerning the board, net, lighting, floor, air-conditioners etc.,
LADDER CHALLENGE
Challengers must pay the appropriate fee before the commencement of such match.
A winner or loser of a challenge match must play with another challenger before a re-challenge match can be made.
Ball shall be provided only during tournament and challenge matches.
Friday is regarded as ladder challenge night strictly on table 1,2,3,4, between 7pm & 9pm non-challenge matches can be played on the remaining tables.
All equipment to be used during tournament are subject to I.T.T.F. and N.T.T.F. Standards.
In the absence of a specific guidance, order of play shall be decided by any committee member.
Any of the committee members and technical committee of the section may disallow any member found not complying with any of the above rules.
